After the fantastic History, his Bronski Beat-esque track with Groove Armada, Will Young has decided to keep his foot firmly placed in the 80s synthpop door, with the new single Jealousy. I really like this song, a combination of real emotion and glossy (but not over-produced) production from the ever-reliable Richard X (who produced the whole album).
It's definitely one of my favourite songs of the year so far, but my only gripe is that it doesn't go on long enough and ends a bit too suddenly - but perhaps this is just a radio edit, and hopefully, in true 80s fashion, there will be an extended version.
