The new track by Leona Lewis / Avicii is not bad (it certainly stands above some of the chaff that they have the cheek to call a song and sell for 99p on iTunes), but what I thank it most for is introducing me to the song that it samples - not Avicii's Fade into Darkness, which was 'borrowed' for the tune, but the original sample - Penguin Cafe Orchestra's 1987 track Perpetuum Mobile. You might have heard it from adverts for phones and such like, but put that out of your mind and listen to its naively innocent beginning, a jubilant piano riff and both emotionally sweeping, and lively strings which build throughout.
And if you'd prefer a more throwaway, but still fairly good dance track...
