It goes without saying that I love synthesisers and all manner of electronic music, but it may come as some surprise to see artists such as Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Nat King Cole in this list too. My top five, though, are probably more predictable, consisting of Frankie Goes To Hollywood (twice), Pet Shop Boys (also twice), and New Order. While it's true that I have a definite preference towards 80s music, there is a least one track from every decade since the 1960s.
