Hurts - Miracle

I'm not sure about this new Hurts track, or the direction they seem to be going in. This one sounds too much like some of the tracks on Coldplay's latest album, and The Road, which Hurts shared recently, is slightly too dark. I much prefer the 80s synthpop style of Wonderful Life from their debut.

Still, this song's not bad but this increasingly darker sound draws comparisons with Depeche Mode's career, but in a much shorter timespan, which is slightly worrying as I think DM's best output was pre-1993.

Edit: While it's still not one of my favourite Hurts' tracks, it is growing on me, so maybe I was a little hasty with my judgement.
